Legislator Brian Scavo said today ‘’ Legislator Brian Scavo and members of the Albany County Legislature will address the public service commission’s public hearing at Colonie town hall today at 4pm to speak out against the 370 million dollar predatory rate hike increase, National Grid intends to charge Albany county and upstate New York,

Lawmaker Scavo also said”” This rate hike is just another Opportunity Buster for the Seniors and the Families and Business’s of Albany county , National Grid’s corporate Fat Cat’s even tried to pass off improper expenses to the residents of New York State, wake up my friends and join myself and many other concerned citizen’s and FIGHT THE POWER , increase !””

Legislator Brian Scavo was one of the first to speak out against this 370 million dollar predatory rate hike for upstate New York that National Grid has proposed and in September drafted resolution 415 demanding that the PSC reject the rate hike requested by National Grid.

Resolution 415 was converted to a letter from the Albany County Legislature to the Public Service Commission, sent out on October 15th 2010. Which will be read into the record, a copy will be sent to all media outlets and concerned citizens.
